Crissy Cáceres, a 27-year veteran in independent education, is in her fifth year as the proud head of Brooklyn Friends School.

- Leading a Quaker, independent, day school that serves approximately 700students ages two through 12 grade and employs 200+ dedicatedcolleagues in downtown Brooklyn. In partnership with a 16-memberleadership team, deliver in a student and mission-centered program with afoundation of Quaker values and three community pillars: Diversity, Equity,& Belonging; Global Social Impact; and Wholeness & Wellbeing.

and practice. In addition to shepherding a multi-year campus unification effort,Crissy created systems and processes to advance evidence-based leadership at GDS,including co-authoring the GDS Hiring Protocols & Practices booklet andimplementing longitudinal data collection to track and analyze student data withparticular focus on access, inclusion, and achievement.
