- Responsible for the management, coordination, and technical supervision of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Building Management Systems (BMS) engineering across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in both office and field environments, providing technical support to clients while ensuring the development, coordination, quality, and timely delivery of engineering documentation in accordance with project requirements and established schedules.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering teams and field technical personnel.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, allocating resources according to project priorities and operational requirements.
- Oversee the development and review of basic and detailed Instrumentation & Control and BMS engineering.
- Supervise the preparation and review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system architectures, loop diagrams, I/O lists, control philosophies, cause-and-effect matrices, instrument datasheets, installation details, cable routing and technical documentation.
- Coordinate the design and integration of PLC-based control systems, remote I/O modules, industrial communication networks, field instrumentation, and control equipment.
- Coordinate engineering activities with Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, and Construction disciplines.
- Address client requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide field support during installation, system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor project progress, review engineering deliverables, and maintain document revision control and traceability.
- Ensure engineering quality and compliance with project scope, technical specifications, and client requirements.

- Airports & Infrastructure: BMS design for Guadalajara International Airport.
- Chemical & Consumer Products: Engineering for Clorox’s new formulation line.
- Pharmaceutical: Instrumentation & Control engineering for process lines at Liomont and Bayer.
- Mining & Metallurgy: Peñoles magnesium hydroxide expansion project and Grupo México’s blending bed project.
- Food & Beverage: Engineering for Sigma Alimentos’ new process line in Atitalaquia, Hidalgo.
- Industrial Storage & Fluid Handling: Engineering for the new PG storage line at Mariscala.
- Field Engineering & Technical Support: Technical support for Nestlé facilities in Toluca and Cuautitlán.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering activities across diverse industrial sectors, from engineering development and technical coordination to field support and deliverable management.
