Christie Newbon is a senior partnerships and business development leader for government, not-for-profit and industry, specialising in commercial growth through purpose-driven programs. With 25+ years of experience designing and delivering revenue-generating partnerships and grants across pharmaceutical, publishing and healthcare settings, she has built a track record of measurable public health outcomes. She is also a Sydney-based Charity Ambassador and holds a Post Graduate MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Macquarie University and a BSc in Nutrition and Psychology from the University of Wollongong.
Career delivery includes revenue growth across tenders, proposals and multi-year, million-dollar accounts with CSL, GSK, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Novartis; major government and NFP grants for Cancer Australia, Head and Neck Cancer, Pancare and Neuroendocrine Cancer; leadership of the Department of Health Biosimilars program through to a successful national uptake increase; and the pitch and win of the Pfizer First Nations initiative – the first program of its kind, improving access to preventative medicines in remote communities. Recognised year-on-year at the PRIME Industry Awards, with a 2022 win for Best In Class Education (NGO category).
Currently focused on the causes sector, supporting high corporate donors and high-net-worth individuals on strategic, measurable giving.
