A New York-based financial services executive with a diverse background, Charles (Chuck) Hinckley serves as managing partner for the company he founded in 1998, CC Hinckley Co., LLC. Charles Hinckley has served in different leadership roles for companies in the finance sector, focusing mainly on renewable energy, cleantech, energy storage, and e-mobility. He has been active mainly in New York and Connecticut, although he has worked on projects all over the US.
Mr. Hinckley earned a BS in physics from Miami University and later joined the U.S. Navy as a surface line officer. While in the Navy, he took part in the Persian Gulf deployment and was awarded the Joint Expeditionary Medal.
After founding his own financial services company, Mr. Hinckley also served as CEO and managing director for other financial firms focused on renewable energy, namely Noble Environmental Power and American Wind Capital Company. From 2018 to 2020 he was a managing director for Marathon Capital, where he led the reestablishment of the New York office, which he served as co-head.
Since 2020, Chuck Hinckley has been focusing on his role as a managing partner for CC Hinckley Co. on environmental projects. In particular, he has been providing financial services for firms working on clean power, electric vehicles, solar and wind power, and energy efficiency.
