A Certified Employee Benefit Specialist and Registered Health Underwriter, Brandon Guest serves as Charleston, South Carolina area president at Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS), Inc., a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. In this capacity, Brandon Guest collaborates with employers to develop and deliver compliant and cost-effective employee benefit programs. He is particularly versed in holistic health plan strategies and leverages GBS' resources and a global network of experts to deliver sustainable health benefit plans to South Carolina employers.
Prior to joining GBS in 2011, he was the owner of Horne/Guest for 21 years, through which he developed innovative benefit plans, enrollment solutions, and wellness programs. He established the agency as a three-employee operation in 1990 and grew it into one with 25 employees and $3.5 million in revenue. He spent the first four years of his career as a sales producer at BlueCross BlueShield.
Complementing three decades of employee benefits management experience, he holds a master's degree in health administration and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Medical University of South Carolina and Duke University, respectively. He also holds membership with relevant professional organizations such as the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and Society for Human Resource Management.
