Board-certified radiologist Dr. Ashwin Nambiar possesses more than a decade of experience in the medical field. He studied chemistry at the University of Virginia, where he also earned his doctor of medicine. He interned at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he administered care for patients in the ER, medical, surgical, ICU, and pediatric units. Dr. Ashwin Nambiar also served as a resident at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, where he trained in general radiology and all related subspecialties. He then completed a fellowship in combined body and imaging informatics at the University of Baltimore, where he gained experience in the analysis of body ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, PET scans, and fluoroscopy.
Dr. Ashwin Nambiar served as a radiologist for AMN Staff Care in San Francisco and for the Veterans Administration in Menlo Park. He is certified with the American Board of Radiology and has published research in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology as well as CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Nambiar is currently at Arizona State University, where he is studying health care delivery.
