Arthur Cooper has served in a variety of roles over the course of his career as an entrepreneur. He first owned and operated Art’s Cafe, a breakfast and lunch restaurant where he served as chef and manager. He was famous for his eggs Benedict and created many specialty dishes, which were often vegan and low-calorie. In 1987, he launched Arthur Cooper Landscaping in Madison, Wisconsin, a full-service landscaping operation that also specialized in creative landscapes. He won awards for his land and aquatic designs, which included rock gardens and koi ponds. To augment this work, he belonged to the Wisconsin Landscape Contractors Association and the Southern Florida Aquatic Landscapers Trade Group.
Arthur Cooper has also worked as a project superintendent for Art HVAC, where he directed HVAC-related construction projects, and as a supervisor for ABC Accessories, where he oversaw phase one construction of a new middle school. He also spent three years as an IT manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In his free time, he enjoys folk dancing and has volunteered as an instructor. He also likes gardening, cooking, and painting.
