Anthony Ruggeri NJ

A claims program manager and supervisor at Armour Risk Management Ltd. in NJ, Anthony Ruggeri manages 10 adjusters and two supervisors responsible for handling general liability, auto, property, and omissions claims. Immediately before accepting his current role, Mr. Ruggeri functioned as a claims manager and supervisor for New Jersey Schools Insurance Group. For more than three years, he oversaw the work of 33 staff members and revised best practices to achieve a 100 percent closing ratio.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Ruggeri held various positions with such companies as Farm Family Insurance Co., Legion Insurance Co., and Crawford & Co. Over more than three decades, he familiarized himself with dozens of insurance claims types, including commercial automobile, workers’ compensation, and property insurance.

This practical experience supplements his formal education, which includes a BA in communications from Rowan University and graduate work at Thomas Edison State College. On top of that, he has earned risk management (ARM), associate in claims (AIC), and general insurance (INS) certifications from the Insurance Institute of America.
