Ana Maria Gonzalez Angulo

Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Ana Maria Gonzalez-Angulo is a longtime oncology clinician and researcher with a focus on aggressive breast cancers that affect young patients. Affiliated with the Unidad de Cancerologia, she also likes to handle complex cases involving multiple cancers, comorbidities such as HIV and hepatitis infections, and patients who are pregnant or on dialysis. Dr. Ana Maria Gonzalez-Angulo's extensive knowledge of disease, health, and healing extends to a research-informed understanding of the mechanisms that make the body resistant to cancer therapies.

Dr. Gonzalez-Angulo spent many years as a tenured professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, guiding innovative research programs and mentoring numerous physician-scientists in clinical and laboratory settings.
