At Carret Private Capital, Amit's comprehensive expertise encompasses global fixed income, public and private equities, venture funds, and direct investments in private companies. He plays a crucial role in securing exclusive investment opportunities for clients and is currently spearheading a direct investment initiative in the pre-owned luxury watch sector. His sophisticated approach to legacy planning and cross-border wealth structuring, combined with his deep understanding of family office dynamics, has positioned him as a premier advisor for complex global wealth management requirements.
His career trajectory showcases progressive leadership growth across Asia's leading financial institutions. Prior to Carret Private Capital, he held senior positions at Julius Baer, where he served international UHNW clients, and Bank J. Safra Sarasin (2016-2018), where he consistently overachieved both AUM and revenue targets while being recognized as one of the best performers in Asia. Earlier in his career, at ANZ Bank, he advanced from Relationship Manager to Team Head within two years and earning multiple performance recognition awards. His entrepreneurial capabilities were demonstrated at Religare Macquarie Private Wealth, where as VP and Cluster Head, he built a complete wealth advisory team from the ground up, across 100 clients with zero team attrition.
Amit's academic foundation includes an MBA in Marketing Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, complemented by his CFA charter and CPWP (Certified Private Wealth Professional) certification from PWMA Hong Kong. An accomplished sailor who represented India in the 1996-97 Cadet Sailing World Championship, Amit continues to pursue competitive sailing while maintaining his commitment to physical fitness, having completed full marathons in October 2024 and February 2025.
