About Me
Alexandra Jakob, an entrepreneur based in Sydney, has built an impressive career across diverse sectors, including education, private investment, technology start-ups, e-commerce, hospitality, and beauty. She is well-known for founding and successfully selling significant businesses such as Little Learning School and BondiBoost. Presently, Alexandra heads Globe Wealth, a private investment firm that excels in business strategy, investment management, and forging partnerships.

In 2006, Alexandra founded Little Learning School by acquiring her first childcare centre. Motivated by her experiences as a mother, she was dedicated to providing exceptional care and developmental opportunities for children. She introduced strategic educational programmes, a variety of extracurricular activities, and maintained higher-than-average staff-to-children ratios. The immediate success of Little Learning School led to rapid expansion across NSW, Canberra, and Melbourne, establishing it as one of Australia’s largest privately-owned childcare groups. By 2018, the network had grown to include over 2,500 employees and 54 centres, which were sold to Bain Capital Private Equity and Busy Bees in two separate transactions.

In 2018, Alexandra launched BondiBoost, an Australian haircare brand with aspirations for international success. Frustrated by the lack of high-quality, Australian-made hair products free from harmful ingredients, she developed salon-grade products with high-performance botanical ingredients. Her innovative social media marketing and brand strategy drove rapid growth, with the company reaching million-dollar revenue within months. BondiBoost expanded into high-end salons and major retailers such as Boots UK, Sephora in the USA and Canada, and Ulta in the USA. In 2022, Gauge Capital acquired BondiBoost, marking another successful business exit for Alexandra.

In 2023, Alexandra entered the hospitality sector as a strategic partner and investor in Iberica, a Mediterranean restaurant located in Bondi. Known for its artistic atmosphere and delightful Spanish cuisine, Iberica quickly became a standout in Sydney’s vibrant culinary scene.

Since 2024, Alexandra has been at the helm of Globe Wealth, a private investment firm specialising in business strategy, investment management, and partnership building. She focuses on cultivating strong relationships and collaborating with exceptional management teams to enhance decision-making and maximise value creation. With a global perspective and diverse investment strategy, Globe Wealth emphasises private equity, venture capital, debt funding, and property investments, particularly excelling in direct investments across education, real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing.
