Alexander Stinemetz

Well-versed in financial management and risk management practices, Alexander Stinemetz serves as a financial institution specialist at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he is responsible for conducting an assessment and risk management based on the financial status of institutions in the Louisville and Western Kentucky region. To prepare for his role, Alexander Stinemetz completed the company’s rotational program, in which he worked at several functions, including risk management supervision, insurance and research, depositor and consumer protection, and resolutions and receivership. He has received five monetary awards for demonstrating excellent performance at the company.

Prior to joining FDIC, Alexander Stinemetz participated in a study abroad program at Uppsala University in Sweden, where he gained knowledge in international marketing and basic Swedish. He also interned as a business analyst at Worthington Industries, where he applied lean principles and business analytics to improve the operational efficiency of the company’s cold rolling plant in Cleveland, Ohio. He also performed a project analysis of overtime expenditures to enhance workplace productivity.

Mr. Stinemetz graduated magna cum laude with a major in finance economics and minor in history from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he also worked as a finance intern for over a year. His assessment and subsequent recommendation of real estate for the university’s New York Arts Program was selected by the Board of Trustees.
