- Formulation and implementation of the company/department strategy for all Access Network layers (2G, 3G, 4G) across the west and south region in KSA
- Developing and maintaining the technology road map for 2G, 3G, and 4G network layers and adopt most innovative solution to serve company strategy for existing and evolving service demand.
- Forecasting the long/short term budget for Access network based on technology roadmap and expansion demand also to convey and communicate the annual budget for west and south region in KSA
- Maximize the efficiency of utilizing the department CAPEX through using tools and technologies to obtain smart network planning
- Supervise west region RFQs/RFPs committees related to Access network to ensure maximum utilization/efficiency of department budget.
- Mentor the planning and design managers and engineers to ensure the most efficient and standards-compliant process.
- Develop innovative Network solution with vendors/consultants/contractors to ensure all quality parameters and standards are maintained with highest level. Ensuring provision of technical assistance to other departments for Network plan and design
- Assures that the network’s Key Performance & utilization Indicators are at their healthiest state. Brings about the most cooperative inter-departmental working environment with different teams e.g. Network Operations Centre, Optimization, Project, sales ….etc.
- Monitoring planning global Key Performance Indicators to guarantee network efficiency
- Being Chairman of some committees and member of others , my responsibility was to Plan, prepare and negotiate the vendor offers for budget of SAR 500M+ covering 2G , 3G and 4G to cater the network requirements including price negotiation and technical evaluation of the solution and products
