An automotive sales and management executive with more than 30 years of experience, Abdul B. Seedat has served as the finance director of Steven Ford of Jersey City, New Jersey, since 2017. Charged with finalizing sales negotiations and securing customer financing, Abdul B. Seedat conducts credit and title checks, calculates loan payout amounts, and promotes vehicle purchase add-ons.
Prior to joining Steven Ford, Mr. Seedat served as sales and desk manager with Premier Ford & Lincoln in Brooklyn, New York, where he oversaw daily operations ranging from sales associate training to customer service, and as general sales manager with All American Ford in Hackensack, New Jersey. Mr. Seedat holds a bachelor of business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has completed various dealership training, including a Ford program in customer relationship management.
When he is not working, Mr. Seedat devotes his energy to home improvement projects and building and refinishing furniture. A fan of financial podcasts, he particularly enjoys Planet Money on NPR.
