Board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Thomas Ocheltree is an Illinois-based oral surgeon who has served as partner of Drs. Doran, Capodice, Efaw, & Ocheltree, LLC, since 2006. At this private practice, Dr. Thomas Ocheltree provides comprehensive oral surgical care to patients. In addition, he supervises dental students undergoing clinical training in oral surgery at Southern Illinois University (SIU) Dental School.

Dr. Ocheltree completed his oral surgery residency at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, prior to which he served in the US Navy Dental Corps and earned the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his work as a top-performing lieutenant in the oral surgery department. He earned his doctor of dental medicine from SIU Dental School, where he received academic honors such as the Clopper Memorial Foundation Award for Basic Sciences Research and the Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity Senior Scholarship Award.
