Terrence Lowenberg

Born in New York, Terrence Lowenberg studied for his bachelor of business administration at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. After graduating, Terrence Lowenberg returned to New York and obtained his real estate license. He then started Icon Realty Management, an investment and management firm. Today, he serves as principal of the firm, which manages more than 1,800 apartments across the city.

To expand the company, Terrence Lowenberg undertakes innovative and unique approaches to growth. Recently, Icon purchased the Chelsea Pines Inn, a historic building that now serves as a boutique hotel. In addition, the firm bought two commercial warehouses in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn that will be renovated into residential or commercial space. The firm will also soon begin construction on a 30-story building on Second Avenue.

Terrence Lowenberg also understands the importance of connecting with the community. Through Icon, he has recently undertaken multiple humanitarian projects that will further the culture of public art in the city and help find homes for animals in need.
