A graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, Steve Keshtgar began his career in 1979 as a supervisor with Irving Trust Insurance in New York City, a role in which he managed validation and verification tasks. He built upon this experience in his next position as a district manager for Morris Bailey Enterprises in Staten Island. There, Steve Keshtgar guided a chain of Burger King franchises located across Staten Island and northern New Jersey while overseeing all aspects of training, staff management, and sales initiatives.

In 1986, Steve Keshtgar transitioned into the automotive services industry when he founded Motor Parkway Enterprises. Beginning the company with a single Amoco gas station and convenience store, he has expanded Motor Parkway over the past three decades to include BP franchises. During that time, he has received numerous honors from companies such as Exxon, BP, Dunkin' Donuts, and Subway.

Also active in the larger field, Mr. Keshtgar previously served as the second vice president for the Gasoline & Automotive Service Dealers Association (GASDA). He has also been a member of dealer councils for a number of brands and, from 1988 to 2002, served on the advisory board for Amoco.
