As a program coordinator, our job isn't limited to one thing. The main part of my job is ordering both office and program supplies, meaning I am to be sure the entire basement storeroom for SCF Family Dental is stocked and supplied, along with purchasing miscellaneous office and staff support supplies as well. I help coordinate and schedule meetings and events, purchase lunch/catering if needed, and communicate with many different employees on a daily basis for requests on orders or IT help. I assist our clinical staff on CE/license reimbursement, I pay and help manage invoices that are billed to our department, and I am in frequent contact with vendors and sales representatives in regards to our supplies. I am also currently involved in a major project in reorganizing our basement storeroom and changing the way that we order items to make it much more streamlined and efficient. I also help organize and coordinate dental provider interviews which are around 5 hours in duration by ordering coffee, pastries, and lunch, and getting participants signed up as well.
