A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley’s Boalt Hall, Sarah Bond of Portland, Oregon has been working in the legal field for more than a decade. First starting in the field while in law school, she spent two summers as an associate for the East Bay Community Law Center and, later, Morrison and Foerster. She served as co-editor-in-chief of the African American Law and Policy Report and won the Berkeley Law Phoenix Fellowship. After graduating, she spent three years practicing complex civil litigation and family law as an associate attorney at Stoke Lawrence in Washington and, in 2008, Sarah Bond started her current position as a family law attorney for Zimmer Family Law in Portland.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bond has striven to maintain a healthy balance between her work and home life. The mother of three daughters, she spends much of her free time around her kids; together, they recently visited Thailand for a month and explored such cities as Bangkok, Trang, and Chiang Mai. They visited various temples and an elephant sanctuary while in the country. In addition to spending time with her family, Sarah Bond is a dedicated runner who has been running since 2007 and has completed a number of full and half marathons. Ms. Bond ran the Portland Marathon several years in a row and recently completed a 40k.
