While a student of business and mathematics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, “Kota” Saint Jovite Youngblood maintained an overall grade point average of 3.7. He graduated with his bachelor of arts in 1993 and subsequently found success in industries that range from automotive financing to the buying and selling of vintage toys. Since 2010, Saint Jovite has served as president of Youngblood Metals Mining, a Monrovia, California-based organization that deals in rare collectibles, stamps, watches, jewelry, precious stones, and precious metals such as silver, gold, platinum, and palladium.

Outside of the professional arena, Kota Youngblood enjoys jet skiing and snowboarding. An amateur musician and multi-instrumentalist, he particularly likes playing the six-string Gibson guitar and the upright acoustic bass. He is also an avid practitioner of American kendo. He and his children are currently pursuing black belts under the tutelage of Tommy Chavies, the last remaining disciple of famed Honolulu martial artist Edmund Kealoha Parker.
