Matthew Quist

I am an Alcatraz swim junkie, Ironman triathlon racer, police detective, endlessly in pursuit of that 1 more perfect Alcatraz Swim. Obsessed with diving into frigid, treacherous, shark infested, waters of San Francisco Bay swimming about 1.5 miles to shore.

When not Alcatraz swimming, I am racing triathlons/Ironmans . My interest is at the Ultra Distance 140.6 mile Ironman and Ironman 70.3 distance.

I am currently a Detective/Polygraphist. When I leave I would to move somewhere warm and exotic, where I can train year round.. I would like to finish my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology in the ext 7 years, moving on to bigger and better things, after 25 years in the police force.
