Ravneet Chowdhury

Ravneet Chowdhury is a philanthropist, business executive, and community leader focused on healthcare advocacy, education, and social responsibility. Based in South Florida, she plays an active role in her family’s wellness and beauty business, overseeing corporate operations, compliance, and international business management throughout the United States and Latin America. Her career reflects a balance between business leadership and charitable service across multiple communities.

She is best known for leading the Chowdhury Family Foundation, which has raised millions of dollars to support children’s healthcare, educational initiatives, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian programs in the United States, Colombia, India, and Nepal. In addition to her philanthropic work, she is involved in community development and charitable fundraising efforts across South Florida. She is also a member of YPO Miami and serves as a Board Member of the Florida Grand Opera.

Born and educated in India, she attended the Convent of Jesus and Mary in New Delhi before studying at Lady Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi. After moving to the United States, she continued her education at the University of Miami and later pursued legal studies at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. She eventually became a member of the Florida Bar, building a legal foundation that contributed to her work in corporate governance, compliance, and nonprofit oversight.

A significant part of her work has centered on developing the Chowdhury Family Foundation. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, healthcare institutions, and community leaders, the foundation has supported healthcare access, educational opportunities, women’s empowerment, and family assistance programs. Many of these efforts focus on improving the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.

Her philanthropic work also extends internationally. The foundation supports an orphanage in Colombia and promotes educational opportunities for girls in India and Nepal. She believes that access to education can help create stronger opportunities for future generations.

Healthcare advocacy remains an important area of focus in her work. She has supported organizations dedicated to improving access to treatment for children with complex or rare medical conditions. From 2010 to 2019, she served on the board of Miami Children’s Hospital and later became Board Chair. During that time, she attended the Diamond Ball marking the transition of Miami Children’s Health System to Nicklaus Children’s Health System.

Ravneet Chowdhury has also supported organizations serving vulnerable communities in South Florida through programs related to housing, healthcare, counseling, rehabilitation, and family support services.
