The recipient of an associate in applied science in automotive technology from Green River College, Philip Giboney began his career in 1989 as a papermaker with Simpson Tacoma Kraft and soon after joined Autoworks as a technician. In this role, Philip Giboney completed diagnostics on automotive computers and sensors and found and repaired intermittent drivability issues. He also became certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE, in engine performance, brakes, and engine repair, among other areas.
Beginning in 1993, Mr. Giboney managed a Snap-On Tools franchise in Lakewood, Washington, for nearly 20 years. In 2012 he leveraged his business management skills and hands-on repair experience to launch Trojan One Properties, where he manages commercial and residential properties and provides maintenance repairs.
An avid sailor, Philip Giboney enjoys restoring old boats and spending his free time cruising North and South Puget Sound as well as boating to destinations such as the San Juan Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands. He also enjoys fishing and diving.
