His commitment to healthcare innovation was shaped by personal adversity. In 2000, he was attacked with an iron bar, resulting in more than a dozen surgeries, the most recent in 2022. When conventional medicine failed to resolve the infection that followed, he relied on his discipline, sports science knowledge, and the guidance of trusted professionals. Training six days a week, he rebuilt his strength from scratch. In 2006–2007, after using alternative methods to help extend his mother’s life by over 15 years, he realized there was a more effective way to care for people. That belief became the driving force behind Kokoon.

Before launching Kokoon, Per Jacob spent years coaching high-performance soccer teams across Europe. The challenges of working with elite athletes taught him adaptability, discipline, and the ability to bring diverse personalities together toward shared goals. These lessons became central to his leadership approach, shaping the way he builds strong teams, makes critical decisions, and navigates challenges.

Under his leadership, Kokoon Global Inc. has achieved the rare position of being debt-free and cash-rich, while owning 100% of its assets. Without lenders, the company operates with full independence, remaining committed to its mission of bringing dignity and results to healthcare. Kokoon’s approach integrates traditional medicine, advanced treatments, and wellness-focused services, delivered by a carefully selected team of experts, including industry veterans with decades of experience.

Adaptability has been a defining factor in Kokoon’s progress. For nearly 20 years, Per Jacob has worked alongside world-class physicians and industry advisors to guide the company’s growth. He listens to the counsel of trusted experts but takes decisive action when time is critical. During the COVID-19 lockdowns in Spain, when many halted operations, he pressed forward with new initiatives, turning uncertainty into opportunity.

Over the years, Kokoon has faced challenges, including smear campaigns, online harassment, and two takeover attempts, yet with the support of his family, legal counsel, and business allies, he has defended the company’s independence and reinforced its mission.

Family remains a constant priority in his life. He is the father of a daughter and a son in their early 30s, both of whom he considers his greatest achievements. Kokoon is part of the legacy he intends to leave them. Even with a demanding schedule and frequent travel between Norway and the United States, he remains dedicated to creating a better future for his family and for the families Kokoon serves.

Kokoon’s expansion continues at a pace. In May 2025, the company began building a 23-surgical-room clinic in the Canary Islands, a development that will help fund and accelerate the Miami Medical Resort—a unique concept combining luxury living with advanced medical care. Plans also include satellite centers in every U.S. state and dual stock exchange listings in Norway and the United States. Every step of growth is carried out within strict cash flow limits, ensuring both stability and agility.
