Neill Sullivan

Neill Sullivan, the founder and president of the Sullivan Management Company and REO Homes, made a name for himself in the years following the financial crisis of 2008 by investing heavily in foreclosed, banked-owned homes (REOs), particularly in Oakland, California. Neill Sullivan then made substantial renovations, transforming unsafe and unlivable houses into beautiful and functional residences, which he manages and maintains as rental properties for hundreds of tenants.

Through REO Homes, Neill Sullivan has spearheaded a wide range of philanthropic initiatives in West Oakland, California. Over the years, REO Homes has sponsored summer internship programs for Oakland youth, provided a new roof for the West Side Baptist Church, and planted a number of trees throughout the region. The organization also established the website www.Respectwestoakland.com to combat illegal dumping in underserved areas. REO Homes is currently building a martial arts studio and a community center to create a safe place for West Oakland kids to learn and play.
