Michael Pucciarelli obtained his post-secondary education at St John’s University, where he pursued a degree in biology and chemistry, followed by bachelor of business administration, and finally, an MBA in international economics. Then, Michael Pucciarelli began his professional career working at the Wechsler Coffee Corp. Serving as managing director, Mr. Pucciarelli was responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts for raw materials as well as overseeing operations at the company’s roasting plants. During his time there, he was responsible for purchasing and selling over 2 billion pounds of coffee.
Leaving Wechsler in 1999, Michael Pucciarelli went on to serve as director of strategic partners at Superior Coffee and Tea. As the head of his division, he oversaw the sale of 50 million pounds of product to food service firms each year, totaling more than 600 million pounds over his tenure. He left Superior in 2011 to serve as CEO of Milogio, LLC, a coffee industry consultancy. Working with coffee producers, roasters, importers, and food service firms, he oversaw the design and construction of infrastructure, including the acquisition and establishment of a coffee manufacturing plant in the northeastern United States.
