It seems I can't get enough of panicky students, restless audiences and impossible deadlines. One has to rise to one or two challenges ! Assist the Bureau Manager in developing, managing, delivering and promoting the Institute's and Ministry's grants programme.
Ensure that the grants review and selection process in a manner that is responsible, professional, financially sound, participatory, sensitive to local needs, culture and politics and in accordance with the French Institute policies and procedures.
Facilitate regular communication with grantees, maintains cooperative partnerships between the Institute and the grantees and other possible stakeholders
Assist in the development of and maintains the system of a database of grantees, including a tracking system that provides frequent updates on fund-flows, reporting requirements, audits, contract deliverables and budget revisions.
Work on all administration aspects of the role to a timely and accurate standard.
Support efforts to ensure the cross cutting themes are integrated into the planning, implementation and monitoring of programme activities
Manage content of the Bureau du livre and Beirut French-speaking Book Fair communication media.
Manage and provide relevant contents for the various social media
Develop and sustain excellent relationships with authors, publishers, and booksellers
