His developments have been honored with Awards of Merit and Gold Nugget Awards from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, Matthew Gordon has worked as a real estate developer in Encinitas, California, since 1995. In this position, he builds upon well over three decades of experience in real estate development, performing functions that range from sourcing investment opportunities and conducting feasibility studies to acquiring financing, assembling design/development teams, and crafting exit strategies to maximize return-on-investment. In addition to his numerous ground-up construction projects in the Greater San Diego County areas, Matthew Gordon has overseen multiple San Diego area historic rehab and adaptive reuse projects.
Over the years, Mr. Gordon has volunteered his time with several nonprofit and civic organizations, including Brand Source and the 101 Main Street Association. He also served tenures as a board member and a treasurer of the Seacoast Preservation Association, an environmental group that is dedicated to protecting the Southern California coastline.
In his free time, Matthew Gordon enjoys cooking and taking long walks. He is also an avid world traveler who has journeyed throughout Europe and Asia.
