A graduate of Dunwoody High School in DeKalb County, Georgia, Mathew Guttman went on to live in Southern California and Brussels, Belgium. He is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Outside of his academic pursuits, Mathew Guttman is an avid weightlifter and skier. His other favorite sports include wrestling and cross-country running, competing in both during high school.
Mr. Guttman’s volunteer efforts include serving 20 hours with the Pregnancy Aid Clinic, an Atlanta, Georgia-based organization that provides medical services and educational assistance to expectant parents throughout the area. He also has a history of involvement with Teen Corp, serving three years with the nonprofit organization dedicated to introducing young leaders to social philanthropy, medicine, and the United States agriculture industry. As part of Teen Corp of the South Georgia Farmworker Healthcare Project of Emory University, Mathew Guttman volunteered at several regional health care clinics.
