A financial executive with over 40 years of industry experience in a variety of capacities, Mark Heiden serves as a managing director of investments at Wedbush Securities, where he provides retirement and estate planning as well as investment advice for around 400 clients. Prior to joining Wedbush, Mark Heiden worked as a senior vice president with Morgan Stanley and helped guide over 300 clients through the economic crisis of 2008. During his six-year stint with the company, he earned President's Club recognition in 2008 and 2011, and he was a Chairman's Club award recipient in 2009, 2010, and 2012.
After beginning his career in the treasurer's office for an electric utility company and focusing on oil and gas financing for Security Pacific Bank, he joined Crowell, Weedon & Co. in 1996 to cover for his father, who was recovering from surgery. They later worked together at RBC Dain Rauscher until his father's retirement in 2002. Mark Heiden is now joined by his two sons as part of a four-person team of advisors at Wedbush.
Mr. Heiden earned a bachelor's degree in finance from California State University in 1974 and served as president of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. The following year, he received a master of business administration degree from the University of Southern California.
