Expériences

In charge of the security strategy to be implemented in new emergencies operations around the world, in high risk environment to protect UNICEF staff, assets and operations, and to secure the delivery of the programs.
Advise the Unicef senior representative in country, on the security rules to be applied and define the security operating procedures.
Provide deep security analysis on the operating context, work closely with UNDSS to define the security measures to be deployed.

Provide advice and assistance to the UNICEF representatives, on all aspects of security coordination.
Monitor developments in the region linked to the safety and security of UNICEF personnel and program delivery and update the representatives accordingly.
Monitor situations and events in the region and gather and analyses information with the aim of identifying emerging trends and providing early warning of any potential situation that may affect the safety and security of UNICEF staff, premises and assets and that may also impact he program delivery.
Assist the Representatives with Security Planning and emergency/Crisis Preparedness in accordance with the country specific situation and security requirements including the effectiveness of UNICEF's Emergency Communications System and business continuity capability.
Monitor that country offices comply with and periodically exercise security procedures/protocols and guidelines including: MOSS compliance, Compound Security, Access Control, Building Evacuation Plans Warden System, Security Awareness and Briefings, Fire Safety, Security Component of Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Operational Status of Alternate BCP Site and Communication Tree.
Provide briefings and presentations to UNICEF senior managers and staff with security responsibilities on current and new UN security policies and guidelines and tools

Contribute and assist in developing company’s operations strategy, tactics, long, mid, and short-term forecasting and overall efforts to continually improve performance through operations analysis.
