Northeastern Pennsylvania entrepreneur Larry Wittig directs a pair of companies that fulfill vital municipal and business needs for dumpster container waste collection, disposal, and recycling. Also leading Wittig CPAs as its managing partner, Larry Wittig has provided responsive, reliable accounting services since 1978.
Mr. Wittig’s interests include rowing, an activity in which he achieved a North American Championship as an oarsman in the mid-1970s. Throughout the 1980s, he coached rowing and, in the course of doing so, helped train the men’s and women’s Olympic teams in Los Angeles in 1984. His affiliations with the sport include past positions as coach, treasurer, and member of the Board of Vesper Boat Club, which helps athletes prepare for national team qualification.
A member of Christ Evangelical Free Church, Larry Wittig maintains a strong commitment to his local community. In addition to having served as the chairman of the Luzerne/Schuylkill Workforce Investment Board, Inc., he functioned in a similar capacity with the Pennsylvania State Board of Education. A member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, he enjoys flying in his free time.
