Khaldoun Tabari is a prominent businessman and entrepreneur recognized for contributing to the Middle East's construction and real estate sectors. His vision and leadership have significantly shaped the region’s urban landscape, with notable projects across cities like Dubai, Riyadh, and Doha.
Born on January 1, 1950, in Palestine, Tabari pursued higher education in the United States, earning a Business Management and Engineering degree from the University of Colorado in 1973. After completing his studies, he returned to the UAE and joined his family’s business, Ranya Trading & Contracting. The company was involved in various industries, including construction, electro-mechanical engineering, and pharmaceuticals. This early exposure to multiple sectors gave Tabari a strong foundation for future business endeavors.
Tabari’s career took him to London, where he worked as Executive Director for Multiworld International, which exports electrical materials and consumer products. He then moved to Saudi Arabia, where he became involved with the International Marketing & Development Company (INMA), focusing on electrical and mechanical contracting. These international roles allowed him to gain a broader understanding of global business and prepared him to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.
In the mid-1980s, Tabari took a significant step and founded Tathniya (TEST) Electro-Mechanical Contracting in Saudi Arabia and TEST Contracting in Dubai. His focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation helped these companies proliferate, establishing them as key players in the region’s construction industry. Over time, he expanded into real estate development, overseeing projects that have impacted the Middle East’s skyline.
In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Tabari served as Chairman of Vision Investments & Holdings Inc., a diversified investment firm interested in real estate, finance, and infrastructure. His leadership has helped the company expand its reach globally in the MENA region.
Beyond business, Tabari is committed to social responsibility through the Khaldoun Tabari Swiss Foundation. The foundation supports education, healthcare, and cultural preservation initiatives, particularly for Palestinian communities.
