In November of 2014, Kevin Duron took on a role as a technical sourcer to find the best engineers to work on Google’s many projects. Before starting his current role at Google, Duron was a top account executive at Yelp. In this capacity, he consistently achieved his sales quota and targets every month and was part of a record-breaking team of rookies for March and April of 2014.
Duron is also a sports fan, especially of the LA Lakers and the LA Dodgers, and served as a marketing media student manager for Recreational Sports at the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he also achieved a BA in communication with a minor in professional writing. In this role, he led the creation of the company’s first official website, www.gauchosplay.com.
In his spare time, Kevin Duron loves to travel, especially to explore surfing all over the world. He has always been rooted to the California coast, however, having moved from LA to Santa Barbara and then San Francisco, where he now lives.
