Karin Kirkpatrick leads Family Services of Vancouver, BC, as the organization’s CEO, where she helps guide the group’s efforts to empower local families to high achievement levels. Alongside her executive role, she also serves as an adjunct professor at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, a position she has held since 2006. As a faculty member, Karin Kirkpatrick teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses on numerous topics relating to human resources.
Before taking the helm at Family Services of Vancouver, Karin Kirkpatrick held various executive roles, including that of CEO of the Real Estate Foundation of BC. Boasting a comprehensive academic background, she holds an LLM in international law and practice from the University of Edinburgh, as well as an MBA from Royal Roads University with an emphasis in human resources. Ms. Kirkpatrick is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and the International Women’s Forum.
