When he was 25 years old, Jordan Edwards joined his family’s retail business Mixology Clothing Company, headquartered in New York. At the time he joined Mixology, Jordan Edwards was leading his father’s real estate firm as well as gaining experience building websites.
With a degree in entrepreneurship and new venture management from Northeastern University, Mr. Edwards began consulting for the company in 2013. This was shortly after Hurricane Sandy struck the New York coast, causing damage to several Mixology locations. He shut down two underperforming stores that had sustained hurricane damage, consolidating the company’s inventory and shifting certain business protocols. Within eight months the company’s total revenue doubled and web sales increased, with 10,000 orders placed in 2013.
In 2014 he took on the role of president of the company, which includes the responsibility of setting the vision for the company's growth for both online and retail store sales. At this time he oversaw the opening of new locations and furthered revenue growth. Mr. Edwards is currently making plans to expand the company beyond New York into other markets across the US.
