Joanna Megson

Business and ICT student with an individual flair, driven by a desire to succeed. Diligent, enthusiastic and hard-working, I strive to better my knowledge and abilities in order to achieve my goals. I possess many skills and abilities – such as interpersonal, problem solving and strong IT skills – that continue to blossom and expand as I work towards my future career. I have developed my skills and knowledge whilst working for GE on a 1 year placement scheme, as well as volunteering as a Marketing Assistant at Zeun Digital. A variety of University and placement projects have offered me valuable experience and helped to fuel my passion for Project Management and Marketing. On top of those projects, I’m also a practised fundraiser and negotiator with excellent leadership and organisational skills. Such skills have helped me to organise events which raised over £20,000 for the Prince of Wales Hospice. I feel that the success of these events best convey my determination and dedication, two attributes that I find useful while immersed in a business environment.
