In June 2016, Jim Lipuma co-founded and began serving as chief sales officer-at-large of Rewards21 in Chicago, Illinois, a company that offers a consumer cash reward program for dining at numerous restaurants and booking airline tickets, hotel rooms, and rental cars. In his role, he handles talent recruitment, strategy, and channel development. In addition to his work at Rewards21, Jim Lipuma is the CEO of Immersion Advisory based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Prior to launching these ventures, Jim Lipuma served as CSO of Chicago-based Varsity Tutors, a marketplace for matching students in need with individuals who have experience. He also served as CSO of Restaurant.com, where he helped increase the number of restaurant partners from 7,000 to 20,000, and vice president of sales of Monster.com, where he oversaw a Central region revenue increase to $70 million from $20 million in three years. During that time, he received three consecutive President’s Achievers Awards.
Jim Lipuma earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Northern Illinois University. He maintained a position on the university's sales advisory board from 2010 through 2014.
