Jeremy Goldstein

Corporate lawyer Jeremy Goldstein graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a BA in art history. He went on to complete an MA at the University of Chicago before earning a JD from New York University School of Law. Early in his career, he worked briefly as an associate attorney for Shearman & Sterling LLP. He then joined a reputed New York City-based mergers and acquisitions firm, where he practiced for 14 years and attained partner status. In 2014, he formed Jeremy L. Goldstein & Associates, LLC, a boutique law office with a focus on advising senior company leaders and management teams in matters of corporate governance and executive compensation.

Jeremy Goldstein has played a role in a multitude of large corporate transactions, including the merger of Merck and Schering-Plough Corporation, the acquisition of Rohm and Haas Company by The Dow Chemical Company, and the merger of the NYSE Group and Euronext. He acts as a professional advisory board member for the NYU Journal of Law and Business and has authored articles featured on the Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog. Featured in both Chambers USA Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers and The Legal 500, Goldstein has garnered recognition as a premier attorney in the area of executive compensation.

Beyond his legal career, Jeremy Goldstein maintains a position on the Fountain House board of directors and has served on the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York New Leadership Council.
