  • You're only as smart as the questions you ask and so I ask many questions through reading on various subjects. Non-fiction is my home. Typically reading about: history, psychology, leadership, music and philosophy.
  • I started to learn how to cook mostly to impress my wife, then girlfriend. It worked! But I also got hooked and fell down the rabbit hole of pan sauces, knife skills and the search for the perfect sear.
  • I've always had an interest in great leaders, generals and their stratagems and philosophies. This has culminated to an interest in the 'battlefield' of the chess board.
  • I'm a self taught guitar player who cannot go one day without playing. Writing melodies, learning songs or just playing with another musician, is big time fun in my book.
