Harvey Kryger, formally known as Abraham Harvey Kryger, has recently retired as the owner and Medical Director of Monterey Preventive Medical Clinic, based in Monterey, California. His clinic was celebrated for focusing on preemptive health strategies, aiming to prevent diseases through tailored diet, exercise, and hormone regulation advice. Even after retiring in 2023, he remains actively involved in the medical community by continuing his research and offering guidance to former patients.
Kryger completed his medical and dental training at the University of Manitoba, earning an MD and a DMD. His postgraduate training was extensive, including a critical internship and fellowships at Stanford University’s Santa Clara Valley Medical Centre beginning in 1973. He developed a robust skill set in surgical procedures, particularly in the Burn Unit. He expanded his medical expertise through additional fellowships in Israel, France, and Switzerland, which he completed by 1975.
