With a background spanning investment and health care, Harlan Kleiman most recently served as a consultant to Medical Management Systems Inc. In that role, he provided sales and marketing advisory to an organization that offers outreach services to chronic care patients. Harlan Kleiman provided MMS with meaningful introductions to organizations such as the University of Pittsburgh and Ohio State University Medical Systems.
Mr. Kleiman completed his bachelor’s in political science and philosophy at Hunter College, City University of New York, and took part in a number of campus theatrical productions. As founder of the College Political Forum, he represented his school before the National Student Association. Harlan Kleiman subsequently completed his master’s in industrial administration and management. During his time as a graduate student, he sang with the Yale Russian Chorus and had the opportunity to perform in major concert halls in Europe.
Mr. Kleiman has an early professional background in theater and served as executive director of the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1969, he launched a career as an Off-Broadway producer and successfully produced the long-running show Futz, which achieved an Obie Award.
