Gary Goddard leads The Goddard Group, a firm that serves clients including major developers, hospitality providers, and theme parks by designing and constructing world class attractions in countries all over the world. Early on, he honed his design skills while at Walt Disney World, where he co-created the Hoop Dee Doo wild west live dinner revue show at the park’s Pioneer Hall. Disney soon promoted Gary Goddard to an imagineer, and as such, he contributed to projects like Tokyo Disneyland and to EPCOT and THE WORLD SHOWCASE.
Since leaving Disney, Gary Goddard has gone on to produce some of the world’s most iconic attractions, including The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man 3D ride at Universal Studios. Presently, he is working to build a first-of-it-kind Cirque du Soleil branded series of parks. Mr. Goddard envisions these parks differently from traditional establishments, in that it is less ride focused and more experience focused. He indicates that customers will feel as if they’ve fallen down the rabbit hole like Alice in Alice Wonderland.
