Support the acquisition team in conducting due diligence and executing real estate transactions.
This involved visiting the assets, modelling the strategy and presenting recommendations to the investment committee.
Support the asset management team in executing each asset's business plan and the sale of assets.
From time to time I also had to update investor's reporting material.

Amazon.com is the largest online retailer in the world.
I had the opportunity to join Amazon's EU finance team where I was in charge of approving promotions for all EU marketplaces and reviewing ContraCOGS agreements.
These two tasks were particularly challenging and impactful during Amazon's Black Friday and Cyberweek towards the end of November.
Besides, I worked on improving the reporting process for ContraCOGS agreements. Particularly, I was involved in a project aimed at identifying defective (and costly) ContraCOGS agreements.
The report is now used as a tool to better manage Amazon's cash flow in all EU marketplaces, by both finance and business analysts.

At WCP, I was in charge of researching on investment opportunities. This role included preparing material for the Investment Committee and conducting financial modelling and due dilligence.
I also worked on the valuation of the portfolio's companies on a regular basis, so that WCP could provide an update to its investors.
I also helped preparing material for the annual general meeting of both funds WCP#1 and WCP#2.
