Leveraging more than 15 years of experience as a mattress sales executive, Edwin Shoffner serves as president of Mattress By Appointment, a network of independent sales professionals that offers competitive advantages to its licensees and lower-than-market prices to its customers. Additionally, Edwin Shoffner serves as president of Mattress Wholesale, LLC, a position he has held since 2010.
Edwin Shoffner's supplemental experience in mattress sales includes an eight-year stint as president and CEO of Mattress Man, Inc. In 2000, he co-founded the Durham, North Carolina-based American Mattress Centers, which operated more than 140 retail locations in Wal-Mart supercenters. He also served as vice president of sales for both Comfortaire Corporation and Park Place Corporation.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Shoffner is an active supporter of the Greenville Associate Reformer Presbyterian Church as well as an avid sports fan. He holds season tickets for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association and the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.
