A resident of Northville, Michigan, Derek Blair works at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, as an adjunct professor for the broadcast and cinema arts department. A member of the National Association for Media Literacy Education, he teaches a 15-week course on field production and editing. In addition to his work in education, Derek Blair owns and is the sole proprietor of Blair Properties, LLC, where he handles residential real estate sales and leasing.
