Creating physical flyers and menus for the brick-and-mortar store, as well as photographing products.
Assisted in the WVPU library, providing front desk service: processing loan transactions, resetting passwords, reserving group project rooms and answering the telephone.
Maintained shelf order in the collection, printer paper and toner, refilling staplers, and insured a quiet studious atmosphere.
Assisted in a project titled: "Stakeholder Engagement within Rural Tourism in Austria and Serbia" for two terms with the Business and Management Department at WVPU.
Gathered scholarly literature on rural tourism in Austria, Serbia and abroad, conducting literature searches with Scopus.
Edited articles by interns and volunteers, writing articles, mentoring interns on writing topics and discussions, and helping with promotion of content and editorial direction.
Ensured guest service was friendly, helpful and fast; answering questions from guests and resolving any concerns. Monitored auditoriums for picture/sound quality, temperature, lighting and guest behavior. Controlled access to theatre by greeting, directing guests and tearing tickets. Performed daily concession duties, as well as cleaning and maintain areas of the theater.
Worked with the Foreign Service Institute/School of Language Studies on a project, which served as a backbone to develop a Spanish section reader into aining Foreign Service Officers.
Conducted phone-baking, door-to-door canvassing, and volunteer recruitment during all stages of the campaign: voter identification, persuasion, and the Get Out the Vote operation.
Staffed various canvassing events and recruited volunteers.
Received insight in the ins and outs of running a field office from field organizers and regional organizers, as well as career advice during weekly conference calls.
