As the owner of Beverly Hills, California's Daleoworks Psychological Services, David Daleo draws upon more than 18 years' experience in providing cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals and families, several of whom work in the entertainment industry. Specializing in reality based therapy, Dr. David Daleo is particularly adept at helping his patients manage or overcome depression, substance abuse, weight loss, and anxiety disorders. In addition to performing outpatient services, he provides his expertise on forensic evaluations and coordinates extended patient care through area hospitals and clinics.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Dr. David Daleo worked as a supervising clinical and forensic psychologist with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as well as the Department of Mental Health. In 2003, he earned formal commendation from the Sheriff's Department for his work in screening acute mentally ill inmates and providing service to sworn staff.

Dr. Daleo earned his PhD and master's degree in clinical psychology from Alliant University and, during his studies, gained additional experience through the United States Naval School of Health Sciences, the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, and the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Prior to that, he received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at San Diego.
