Daniel Hohal

A manager committed to the insurance sector, Daniel “Dan” Hohal serves Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies as a complex claims supervisor. In this role, he negotiates large loss as well as complex insurance cases involving clients in New York and New Jersey. Moreover, Daniel Hohal supervises a team of complex claim representatives working cases in these two regions.

Mr. Hohal first joined GUARD as a claims associate trainee in the firm’s Early Intervention Unit. His responsibilities in this capacity entailed reaching out to workers to verify their injuries and investigating facts related to events that led to these injuries. Dan Hohal was responsible for handling workers’ compensation claims originating in several states, including Pennsylvania and Virginia. In recognition of his strong performance, the company promoted him to its Complex Claims Unit, where he continues to serve today.

An insurance professional active in his cultural community, Daniel Hohal belongs to the Ukrainian Literary Association and serves on its board of directors; he is also a member of the Slovak Club.
