An experienced periodontist, Dan Holtzclaw, DDS, serves patients at the Austin Dental Implant Center in Texas. Dan Holtzclaw, DDS, provides patients with full-mouth reconstructive procedures, such as the All-On-Four implant process.
Dr. Dan Holtzclaw is also active in his professional community as an editor-in-chief and member of the editorial board of multiple dental journals, including the Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Holtzclaw has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed publications.
After earning degrees in biology, oral biology, and dentistry, Dr. Holtzclaw was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and completed his training at the US Navy Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland. Serving in the Navy for 12 years, Dr. Holtzclaw attained the rank of lieutenant commander and received many honors, including serving as the periodontist of the Blue Angels.
